PAL Philippine Airlines, Cracked Windscreen

A PAL Philippine Airlines Airbus A330-300, registration RP-C8760 performing flight PR-658 from Manila (Philippines) to Dubai (United Arab Emirates) with 177 passengers and 13 crew, was enroute at FL400 about 170nm westsouthwest of Yangon (Myanmar) when the crew decided to turn the aircraft around and divert to Yangon reporting a cracked windshield. The aircraft landed safely in Yangon about 50 minutes later. A replacement Airbus A330-300 registration RP-C8771 reached Dubai with a delay of 20.5 hours.
