Envoy, Loss of Cabin Pressure, Door Damage Suspected

An Envoy Embraer ERJ-175, registration N240NN performing flight MQ-3375/AA-3375 from Springfield,MO to Dallas Ft. Worth,TX (USA) with 39 passengers and 4 crew, was enroute at FL380 about 55nm northeast of Kansas City,MO (USA) when the crew initiated an emergency descent due to the loss of cabin pressure and diverted to Kansas City. The crew advised they would stop on the runway for an inspection by emergency services, emergency services should check the aft section of the aircraft and especially the doors. If there is no damage they would continue taxi to the stand. The aircraft landed safely on Kansas City's runway 19L about 16 minutes after leaving FL380 and stopped on the runway, emergency services indicated no visible damage and the aircraft continued to the stand.
